Saturday, “Masskrugstemmen” (Beer-Stein Holding Contest) Final Regional Qualification Round of the 2nd Annual U.S .Championship Masskrugstemmen. “Masskrugstemmen,” which translates loosely to the lifting of a liter mug of beer, is a well-known and a competitive Bavarian sport. The “Masskrug,” a 1 Liter Stein is held with one arm, completely stretched out and parallel to the floor. The goal is simple: To hold a filled stein as long as possible! Contest entry fee $ 20 and keep the “Masskrug”. Win a trip for two to New York City / Munich – Germany, Bring your friends to cheer you on! No Cover Charge, Doors open at 7. Contest starts at 9 pm.
