2 BANDS FROM GERMANY
FESTHAUS BANDSTAND

The American German Club will feature the
"DIE PÄLZER BUAM from Germany"
Die Pälzer Buam are best known for their party atmosphere. The
3 musicians are the embodiment of fun and humor. They can take what would
normally be a serious song, make it a lot of fun, and have you laughing with
them. People often have a hard time believing the sound they hear is coming from
only 3 people. They often sound as if they were an orchestra or a big band
playing. They will play anything the audience wants to hear: whether it be a
waltz, polka, folk music, German folk music, hit parade, or rock and roll. The
Pälzer Buam has a wide audience and is known through their appearances on TV and
radio. They are presently playing at the largest winefest in the world; the
Dürkheimer Wurstmarkt and that is some of the best publicity a band can receive.
The band will play:
on Fridays from 5:00 pm until 9:00 pm
on Saturdays from 12:00 noon until 9:00 pm
on
Sunday's from 12:00 noon until 7:00 pm

WOLFGANG WEBER
Wolfgang will be performing in both the Festhaus and the Pavillion. Born in
Neustadt, Rhineland Pfalz, Wolfgang is a genuine Pälzer. He has appeared in
various Fasching celebrations for the past 20 years. He directed a choir and in
1995 recorded his first CD, "Aus de goldisch Pfalz", as a soloist. He has
appeared on radio and television and is known throughout Germany. One of his
ambitions is to build the "Pfälzische Schiene", or Pfälzische Music Barn. We
wish him luck and hope you will look forward to seeing and hearing him at our
Oktoberfest. Visit Wolfgangs web page (in German) at: http://www.stimmungssaenger.de/
